Bhubaneswar, 2st Aug 2025: A historic step has been taken to enrich innovation and digital literacy among students. With support from Capgemini and SRF Foundation, Tinker Coding Labs have been inaugurated in 10 government schools of Bhubaneswar. Initially, the lab was launched at PM Shri Government High School, IRC Village.
Khordha District Education Officer Sonamika Ray and Capgemini Vice President Anurag Kumar Pratap attended the event. Capgemini Bhubaneswar’s Senior Director and Centre Head Satyajit Nath, SRF Foundation Director Dr. Suresh Renji, IRC Village Government High School Principal Pradeepta Kumar Behera, and the principals of the other nine schools where such labs will soon be opened were also present.
On the occasion of the inauguration, students presented cultural performances. The Tinker Coding Lab will help young learners develop skills in coding, robotics, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. The guests emphasized the transformative role of technology in education.
