Bhubaneswar, June 17: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on June 21. In this context, an important high-level meeting was held at the DGP Camp Office in Bhubaneswar under the chairmanship of the Director General of Police (DGP), Odisha, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania.
The meeting focused on ensuring smooth, fair, and secure conduct of the examination across the state. Detailed discussions were held regarding law and order arrangements, prevention of malpractice, deployment of police forces at examination centres, and coordination between different departments to maintain strict vigilance during the exam process.
Officials reviewed preparedness measures, including the security of question papers, transportation protocols, monitoring systems at sensitive centres, and the implementation of guidelines issued for national-level entrance examinations. Special emphasis was placed on preventing any form of irregularities and ensuring that candidates can appear for the examination in a peaceful and transparent environment.
The DGP directed all concerned officials to remain alert and take necessary preventive measures to avoid any untoward incidents, ensuring that the NEET-UG 2026 examination is conducted in a disciplined and hassle-free manner across Odisha.
