Appeal Made for Steps Toward Meeting Key Demands

Chennai, Nov 26: According to a report by Crisil, in the financial year 2026, the growth of non-bank lenders’ home loans is expected to decline.  The Crisil report states that despite several adverse conditions, the loan book of non-bank lenders may see a growth of only 12–13%, compared to 14% in the current year. Crisil’s assessment notes that due to ongoing competition between non-bank lenders and government banks, and the increased preference for government banks in the major home loan segment, the growth of home loans from non-bank lenders is likely to decrease.
