Balasore, July 14 (UDN): Armed miscreants looted an Odisha Gramya Bank branch at Rasalpur in Balasore district on Tuesday, creating panic among bank staff and local residents.
According to reports, four bike-borne robbers entered the bank during the day and allegedly carried out the robbery at gunpoint. The miscreants also reportedly attacked bank employees before fleeing from the spot.
The incident caused fear in the area, following which police reached the location and launched an investigation.
Authorities are examining available evidence and gathering information to identify and arrest those involved in the crime. Efforts are underway to trace the movement of the accused and recover the looted amount.
