Bhupender Yadav Highlights Scientific and Community-Based Approach to Mangrove Restoration at Bhuj Workshop

Bhubaneswar,  Sept 19 [UDN}:HMEFCC Shri Bhupender Yadav presided over a workshop on mangrove conservation in Bhuj, reviewing progress under MISHTI and highlighting the need for scientific, site-specific and community-led approaches to mangrove restoration.

The occasion also saw the launch of the Mangrove GIS (MGIS) Portal, along with key publications to support better planning, monitoring and decision-making for mangrove conservation.
