BJP Steps Up Grassroots Organisation as Panchayat-Level Meeting Takes Place at Dhodra with Party Leaders and Workers in Attendance

Jharigam: Aug 13 [UDN}:A key organisational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the panchayat level was held at the RMC godown premises in Dhodra under Jharigam Block of Nabarangpur district. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level and chalking out an action plan for expanding and intensifying various organisational activities across the panchayat.

The meeting was presided over by Dhodra Mandal BJP president Bhujabal Panka, while a large number of party workers and functionaries from all 12 wards under Dhodra Gram Panchayat participated in the programme. The gathering provided a platform for party workers to discuss organisational issues, review ongoing activities and formulate strategies for strengthening the BJP’s presence at the village and booth levels.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on ways to further strengthen the party organisation and ensure greater coordination among workers at different levels. Special emphasis was laid on taking the party’s programmes and activities to the grassroots and ensuring active participation of workers in all organisational initiatives.

The participants also discussed the effective organisation of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at the local level. Party workers were urged to ensure wider participation of people and to communicate the key messages and initiatives discussed during the programme among residents in their respective areas.

Another important focus of the meeting was the strengthening of booth-level organisational activities. The party functionaries discussed strategies to make booth-level programmes more effective and ensure that organisational activities reach every village and household under the panchayat. An action plan was prepared for carrying out these activities successfully at the grassroots level in the coming days.

The meeting also discussed the need to accelerate organisational activities and improve coordination among party workers. Matters related to the BLO (Booth Level Officer) voter list, including correction of names and the inclusion of names of newly eligible voters, were also taken up for discussion. Party workers were advised to remain attentive to voter-related issues and assist eligible citizens in the necessary processes.

The meeting was attended by several senior BJP leaders and party functionaries. Batakrishna Bishoyi, Sada Pujari, Hanu Goutia, Sundar Das, Abi Bishoyi and Arjun Bhatra, among others, were present and participated in the discussions.

Manuram Bhatra, former Mandal president, attended the meeting as a distinguished guest. Subash Gouda, president of Dhodra Panchayat, also participated in the organisational programme. Other local leaders and party workers were present in large numbers.

The speakers stressed the importance of maintaining unity among party workers and strengthening communication and coordination between the booth, panchayat and mandal levels. They said that a strong grassroots organisation is essential for taking the party’s programmes and policies to the people and for ensuring effective public participation in various initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the party leadership called upon all workers and office-bearers to work with greater dedication towards strengthening the organisation. They were urged to intensify organisational activities, remain connected with people at the grassroots and ensure that the party’s programmes reach every section of society.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the participating workers to strengthen the BJP organisation in Dhodra Panchayat and make upcoming party programmes successful through coordinated efforts at the grassroots level.
