Bhubaneswar, July 3 {UDN}: The Odisha government has decided to widen the Jaydev Vihar–Nandankanan road into an eight-lane corridor to ease traffic congestion in the capital city. The project is expected to improve traffic flow, reduce travel time, and enhance road safety for commuters.
The upgraded road will help accommodate the growing number of vehicles in Bhubaneswar and support the city’s rapid urban development. Once completed, the expansion is expected to provide smoother connectivity to key residential, commercial, and institutional areas. Authorities believe the project will significantly improve daily commuting and strengthen the city’s transport infrastructure for the future.
