From April 1st, Odisha will kick off its Odia Paksha-2025, a vibrant cultural celebration lasting until April 14th, marking both Odisha Day and the Odia New Year (Pana Sankranti). This annual event is a tribute to the state’s Odia identity, literature, arts, traditions, and the diverse forms of dance and music that define its cultural richness.

During this period, various government offices and cultural centers in Bhubaneswar, the state capital, will be decorated with colorful lights to set the stage for a series of festivities that honor Odisha’s heritage. Odia Paksha aims to showcase the state’s pride in its historical significance and its profound contribution to India’s culture.
