Centre-State Coordination Strengthens as Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Holds Virtual Talks with Odisha Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo on Key Rural Development Issues

Bhubaneswar, May 02:  Virtual Meeting Held Between Union Agriculture Minister and Odisha Deputy CM
A virtual meeting was held between Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Odisha Deputy Chief Minister K. V. Singh Deo.
During the meeting, the Government of India approved the procurement of pulses and oilseeds under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) for the Rabi 2025–26 season.
The decision is expected to benefit farmers by ensuring minimum support prices for their produce and strengthening the agricultural procurement system across the country, including Odisha.
