Kotpad .26th Aug 2025: A monthly meeting of Sarpanchs was held at Chandili Panchayat under Kotpad Block, chaired by Chandili Panchayat Sarpanch Pushpa Pujari.
The meeting discussed the overall development of all panchayats of the block and the delivery of various government schemes to the villagers. Issues like distribution of ration cards, old-age pensions, provision of drinking water, road connectivity, and allotment of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana were taken up.
Special attention was given to ensuring timely and adequate supply of fertilizers like urea and potash to farmers for better cultivation. It was also stressed that all officials of Kotpad Block, including junior engineers, should guide and cooperate with the Sarpanchs effectively, and give due importance to their leadership in carrying out development works.
A decision was taken to conduct such monthly meetings regularly, with the participation of Panchayat Executive Officers (PEOs) alongside the Sarpanchs. Unity among all Sarpanchs and collective cooperation was emphasized.
Finally, Chandili Sarpanch Pushpa Pujari extended her thanks to all Sarpanchs for their participation and successfully concluded the meeting.
