Bhubaneswar, Sept 28 [UDN}:A review meeting of the Chief District Veterinary Officers (CDVOs) of Odisha was held today at the Krishi Bhawan Auditorium in Bhubaneswar to assess the progress of various programmes and activities being implemented by the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department.
The meeting was chaired by Prem Chandra Chaudhary, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department. The discussions focused on reviewing the performance of veterinary and animal husbandry services at the district level and assessing the implementation of departmental initiatives.
Bikash Amruta Kulange, Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Odisha, along with Chief District Veterinary Officers and senior officials of the department, attended the review meeting.
The meeting provided a platform to assess ongoing activities, identify challenges at the field level and strengthen coordination between the state headquarters and district veterinary administration. Officials also reviewed measures aimed at improving animal healthcare and veterinary services across the state.
