Bhubaneswar, Apr 28 (BNP): The entire region will be connected through a robust power transmission network with the development of 400 kV LILO lines and the TTPS–Joda and Turumunga–Rairangpur transmission lines, marking a major step toward strengthening Odisha’s energy infrastructure.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said these modern transmission systems would significantly enhance power reliability, support industrial expansion in Keonjhar district, and help build a world-class transmission network for the state.
He noted that the new infrastructure would play a vital role in balancing the growing demand for electricity from both industrial and domestic consumers, while ensuring uninterrupted and efficient supply across the region.
Officials said the upgraded network is expected to improve grid stability, facilitate future investments, and support Odisha’s long-term economic development agenda.
The initiative is being seen as a major boost for industrialisation in mineral-rich Keonjhar and surrounding areas, while reinforcing the state’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and future-ready power systems.
