Bhubaneswar, Sept 23 [UDN}:Rahul Gandhi may visit Odisha in October to attend the Congress’s ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ programme in Bhubaneswar, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Bhakta Charan Das said. The state Congress has reportedly sent a proposal seeking his participation.
The youth-focused programme is expected to bring together around 20,000 students and young people and discuss issues concerning the younger generation, including education, employment, social justice and their future.
Other senior Congress leaders are also expected to participate in programmes in Odisha. The state unit has announced a series of organisational and public outreach programmes in the run-up to the upcoming panchayat elections.
