Koraput, July 2 (UDN): Continuous heavy rainfall in the Lamtaput block area has severely disrupted normal life. Due to the persistent downpour, trees have been uprooted and fallen at several locations, blocking key roads and bringing traffic to a standstill.
In addition, electricity infrastructure has been affected in multiple areas, with several electric poles bent or damaged, leading to power disruptions across the region.
The road to Ankadelli DAV School has also been blocked after a tree fell on the roadway due to heavy rain, further affecting local movement.
Local administration and electricity department teams are working to clear road blockages and restore power supply at the earliest. Residents have been advised to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
