New Delhi, July 20: India is stepping up efforts to develop deep-water port projects as part of a strategy to strengthen its maritime infrastructure and reduce dependence on foreign transshipment hubs.
The initiative aims to enhance India’s position in global trade by improving port capacity, increasing cargo handling efficiency, and creating stronger connectivity with international shipping routes.
