Koraput, Oct 19 [UDN}:: The newly constructed office building of Deoghati Gram Panchayat under Koraput Block was formally inaugurated by the Koraput MLA and the District Collector. The inauguration marks an important step towards strengthening grassroots-level administration and improving the delivery of public services to residents of the panchayat.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the District Chief Development Officer (CDO), senior officials of the block administration and elected public representatives of the panchayat. Their presence highlighted the importance of coordination between elected representatives and government officials in promoting rural development and ensuring effective implementation of government programmes.
The new office is expected to provide improved facilities for the functioning of the Gram Panchayat and help officials carry out administrative activities more efficiently. It will also serve as an important centre for local governance, enabling residents to access panchayat-related services and raise their grievances more conveniently.
The inauguration reflects the continued efforts to strengthen rural administrative infrastructure and make governance more accessible to people at the grassroots level.
