District Administration Appeals to Voters to Check Personal Details in the Draft Voter List and Submit Corrections Wherever Necessary

Koraput:, July 10 [UDN}:   The District Collector and District Election Officer urged all voters to verify their names and details in the draft electoral roll and to actively participate in the claims and objections process.

Claims and objections can be submitted to the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), such as the Block Development Officer (BDO), Tahsildar, or Executive Officer of the Urban Local Body, or directly to the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

During the house-to-house verification drive conducted from 30 May 2026 to 28 June 2026, if the name of any eligible voter could not be included in the electoral roll for any reason, they can still apply for inclusion during the claims and objections period.

The District Collector and District Election Officer once again clarified that no eligible voter should be left out and no ineligible person should be included in the voter list.

Citizens have been encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that the electoral roll remains accurate, inclusive, and transparent.
