District Administration Organises Training and Awareness Workshop Under the State Child Labour Eradication Campaign to Promote Children’s Rights and Welfare

Jharsuguda , June 27 {UDN}:  A district-level training and awareness workshop under the State Child Labour Eradication Campaign was successfully organized in Jharsuguda under the supervision of OSCPCR Chairperson Mrs. Babita Patra.

On this occasion, Jharsuguda MLA and Chairman of the District Planning Board, Mr. Tankadhar Tripathy, OSCPCR Member Mrs. Chandana Das, the Jharsuguda District Collector, Additional District Collector, representatives of the Revenue Minister and the Bargarh MP, the District Child Protection Officer, the District Labour Officer, senior district-level administrative officials, and government officers from various departments participated in the workshop.

The programme focused on raising awareness about child labour eradication, strengthening child protection mechanisms, and ensuring that every child has access to education and a safe, secure future. The participants discussed coordinated efforts among government departments and stakeholders to prevent child labour and promote children’s rights across the district.
