Koraput, June 6: The SIR 2026 campaign was officially launched at Koraput Coffee in the presence of the District Collector, where the SIR 2026 flag was ceremonially unveiled. Beginning from May 30, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door visits across the district.
The primary objective of the campaign is to ensure an error-free voter list and facilitate the registration of new eligible voters. Special focus will be given to updating electoral records, correcting inaccuracies, and including every eligible citizen in the democratic process.
Citizens have been urged to cooperate with the BLOs during the verification drive and provide the necessary information and documents for smooth completion of the revision process.
The initiative by the Election Commission aims to strengthen electoral transparency, improve voter database accuracy, and encourage greater public participation in elections.
