Bhubaneswar, July 18 [UDN}: A monthly online review meeting was held on 07 July 2026 under the chairpersonship of Mrs. Yamini Sadangi, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Rural Development Department, with departmental heads and district-level officials to review the progress of various schemes and projects undertaken by the department, including PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana), MMSY, and Setu Bandhan Yojana, as well as issues related to tendering processes.
During the meeting, she emphasized the importance of completing all projects within the stipulated timeframe. She also stated that all divisions should achieve the financial targets assigned to them based on the budget allocations.
The Secretary directed that the tendering process for all works under Mission PoWaR should be completed by the end of July 2026. Similarly, she instructed field-level officials to undertake road repair works immediately after the end of the monsoon season.
Apart from this, the meeting also reviewed the progress of various buildings and infrastructure projects being constructed by the Rural Development Department for different government departments.
