Divyang Student Tikesh Shines Bright with Outstanding 89% Performance in Examination

Chandahandi, May 23:  Strong determination has defeated physical limitations in the case of a talented student named Tikesh. Though he has suffered from severe visual impairment since birth, he secured 535 marks (89.16%) in the current Higher Secondary (+2) Arts Examination and passed in first division. Tikesh is a differently-abled student of Panabeda Higher Secondary School under Chandahandi block.

Despite being nearly 75 percent visually impaired, his remarkable achievement has brought pride to the entire region. Tikesh is the son of teacher Tularam Sahu of Bhatipada village. Since he is unable to see or write properly on his own, Tikendra Jal, a first-year +2 student, was appointed as his scribe during the examination.

Tikesh is known as a brilliant student and has previously received several awards at both district and state levels. For his extraordinary success, college principal Nalini Das, along with Anil Prusti, Arun Hota, and Trijan Nayak, congratulated and felicitated him warmly.
