Jeypore ,Nov 27: Under the direction of the State Legal Services Authority, a painting competition was conducted today in Koraput district, covering all courts and taluka levels in Koraput, Semiliguda, Dashmantapur, Lamtaput, Lakshmipur, Kotpad, and Borigumma. The event was held under the supervision of Shri Pradeep Kumar Mahant, President of the District Legal Services Authority.
The competition included students from Class 8 (Category 1) and Class 7 (Category 2) up to Class 10 (Category 2). The event took place in the conference hall of the Jayapur A.G.I. office, organized by the District Legal Services Authority.
The competition was overseen by Dr. Sanghamitra H., Chief Judicial Officer, Koraput, along with Shri Pradeep Kumar Mahant, Additional Dr. Sanghamitra Han, Senior Judge Shri Swayam Prakash Das, Woman Judge Smt. Alokananda Mahanti, Registrar of Civil Court, and other officials including Vishnu Prasad Devata, Santosh Kumar Barik, Hagman Dash, and Devendra Jena.
All participating students were awarded participation certificates. However, first, second, and third places were not declared immediately, as the paintings from all courts and committees in Koraput, Semiliguda, Dashmantapur, Lamtaput, Lakshmipur, Kotpad, and Borigumma were sent to the Jayapur court for centralized evaluation. After assessment, two winners from each category—first, second, and third places—will be announced, and the awards will be distributed.
