Sundargarh, July 1 (UDN): Several elderly tribal residents of Roladihi village under Chordhara panchayat in Koida block of Sundargarh district have alleged that they have been denied benefits under the state’s social security pension scheme despite being eligible.
The villagers stated that they have not received their pension payments for an extended period, causing financial hardship, particularly among elderly beneficiaries dependent on the scheme for basic needs.
The residents have urged the authorities to intervene and ensure the timely release of pending pension benefits to all eligible individuals.
