Bhubaneswar,June 17: A historic step has been taken by the double-engine government to further strengthen food security. Through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the Chief Minister’s Annapurna Yojana, an additional guarantee of food security has been ensured for poor and vulnerable families.
At the Annapurna Yojana Awareness Program held in the auditorium of Koraput Medical College, I joined Hon’ble Minister for Animal Resources Development and Fisheries, Shri Gokulananda Mallik, and Koraput MLA Shri Raghuram Machh in informing the public about the benefits of the scheme.
This welfare-oriented initiative will further strengthen food security and social empowerment for every family.
