Bhubaneswar, Aug 28 [UDN}:: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized jointly by FBDOO and Accenture at the Accenture Acharya Vihar Auditorium in Bhubaneswar.
HR Head Satyapriya Mohanty, Yojan Mohanty, General Manager Mihir Das, and Akshaya Kumar Rout, Secretary of the Federation of Blood Donor Organizations of Odisha, were among those present as guests.
A team from the Red Cross Regional Blood Centre, led by Dr. Prashant Kumar Das along with Gulshan Kumar Das and others, collected a total of 91 units of blood. At the end of the programme, the Blood Centre presented an appreciation certificate to Accenture.
The camp was coordinated by Accenture representatives Binod Kumar and Bijay Kumar, along with Trilochan Das and Rajesh Kumar Panda of the Odisha Blood Donors’ Federation. Employees of Accenture actively participated in the camp.
Expressing gratitude for organizing the blood donation drive at a time of blood shortage in response to the appeal of FBDOO, Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu, Working President of the Odisha Blood Donors’ Federation, appreciated the noble initiative.
Similarly, another blood donation camp was organized at the Gati Express and Supply Chain office premises at Nakhara. Under the leadership of Jayanta Kumar Mohanty, 28 units of blood were collected. The camp was managed by Jayanta Kumar Mohanty of Gati Express, Rajesh Kumar Panda and Rajib Kumar Swain of FBDOO.
