Koraput, May 22: Due to rising fuel prices and fuel-related issues, the demand for electric vehicles in Koraput district is increasing rapidly. People are now preferring to buy electric vehicles instead of petrol vehicles.
According to data from the Koraput Regional Transport Office (RTO), the number of EV registrations in the district was 129 in March, while in April it nearly doubled, reaching 264. The figures for May have also remained strong. In particular, there is the highest interest among people in purchasing electric two-wheelers (electric scooters).
