The Governor arrived at the temple on the eighth day of the sacred ritual and performed darshan of Lord Alarnath, Maa Mahalakshmi, and Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He was received by officials from the district and block administrations during his visit.

Temple servitors briefed the Governor about the spiritual importance and traditional practices associated with the Anavasara period. They highlighted that devotees visit the Alarnath shrine during this time as Lord Jagannath remains away from public darshan following the ceremonial bathing rituals.

The Anavasara period holds special significance for devotees, who believe that prayers offered at the Alarnath Temple during this time bring divine blessings. The temple witnesses a large gathering of devotees from across Odisha and other parts of the country during this annual ritual period.

Authorities have been taking steps to facilitate smooth darshan and ensure proper arrangements for devotees visiting the temple.
