Although the sky remained cloudy, the unbearable humidity had disrupted normal life. However, rainfall in the afternoon across several places, including Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, brought much-needed relief to residents.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Bhadrak. The department has also forecast that temperatures may drop by 2–3 degrees Celsius over the next two days.
