Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Odisha, Yellow Warning Issued

Bhubaneswar, 24th February: In recent days, various parts of Odisha have experienced rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. In view of this, the Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a warning for the coming days, urging caution.

On Monday, 24th February, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in districts like Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Bhadrak, and Balasore. Wind speeds may range between 40-50 km/h in these areas. Additionally, districts such as Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Anugul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Yajpur, Kendrapada, Gajapati, and Ganjam are expected to experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds, with yellow warnings in effect.

Authorities have urged residents in these affected areas to stay alert and take necessary precautions during this period of adverse weather conditions.
