Bhubaneswar, 25th March: Odisha has been experiencing rainfall due to Kalbaisakhi. On Monday, Gopalpur recorded 30.8 mm of rain, while Koraput and Rayagada received 29 mm and 28.2 mm, respectively. Several other districts, including Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Balangir, also saw rain.
A yellow warning has been issued for thunderstorms and rain in various districts on Tuesday. Coastal regions like Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar are likely to experience moderate rain with lightning. 13 districts, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Puri, are expected to have rain and winds up to 40 km/h.
Although the rain has relieved the heat, temperatures are forecast to rise by 5°C over the next five days.
