Bhubaneswar, July 17 [UDN}: Due to the impact of a low-pressure system, Odisha is likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall across several parts of the state. A Red Warning has been issued for Puri and Jagatsinghpur districts, indicating the possibility of extremely heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents in vulnerable areas to remain alert and take necessary precautions. Local authorities have been instructed to stay prepared for possible waterlogging, flooding in low-lying areas, and disruptions to transportation and daily activities.
