Bhubaneswar,May 27: A significant Police-Magistrate Coordination Meeting was successfully held at the office premises of the Superintendent of Police in Koraput with the objective of strengthening law and order, creating a crime-free environment, and maintaining social harmony in the district.
The meeting was chaired by the District Collector and District Magistrate in the presence of the Superintendent of Police (SP) and the Additional District Magistrate (Revenue). All Tehsildars and Police Station Officers participated in the meeting and jointly prepared a security blueprint for the district.
During the meeting, important decisions were taken regarding security arrangements during land surveys, strict action against land mafias, increased police patrolling in rural areas, and stringent measures against anti-social elements. The District Collector stated that development and progress are possible only in a peaceful environment and appealed for the cooperation of all residents of the district.
