Bhubaneswar, Aug 7 [UDN}:A review meeting regarding the progress and implementation status of various tourism projects undertaken by the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) was held today under the chairmanship of the District Collector of Koraput.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was conducted on the ongoing tourism development initiatives, infrastructure projects, and the current status of different works being executed under the jurisdiction of OTDC in Koraput district. The District Collector reviewed the progress of each project and took updates from the concerned officials regarding the pace of work, challenges faced during implementation, and measures required for timely completion.
Emphasis was laid on accelerating the development of tourism infrastructure, improving facilities for visitors, and promoting the rich natural, cultural, and historical heritage of Koraput district as a major tourism destination in Odisha. The meeting also highlighted the importance of ensuring quality work, effective coordination among various departments, and timely execution of projects to enhance the overall tourism experience.
Officials present at the meeting shared progress reports and provided necessary inputs regarding the ongoing and upcoming tourism initiatives. The District Collector directed the concerned authorities to closely monitor the projects and take appropriate steps to complete all works within the stipulated timeline.
