Titilagarh, June 4, 2026: A fire broke out in a residential house in the Padmanabhapur area of Titilagarh town on Thursday afternoon, causing extensive property damage worth several lakhs of rupees.
The incident occurred around 1 PM at the residence of Santosh Sahu. According to fire service officials, the blaze is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit and rapidly spread inside the house, engulfing household items and valuables.
Two fire tenders were deployed to the spot and firefighters worked for nearly two hours to bring the situation under control and prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures.
Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident. However, the fire completely destroyed household belongings, resulting in significant financial loss to the family.
