HUDCO Partners with Odisha to Boost Urban Infrastructure Growth

Bhubaneswar, July 13 (UDN): The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Government of Odisha to provide term loans of up to ₹1 lakh crore over the next five years for strengthening urban infrastructure and housing development across the state.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HUDCO and the Odisha government is aimed at accelerating investments in key urban development initiatives, including housing projects and infrastructure improvements that support the state’s growing urban needs.

The financial assistance is expected to help facilitate the creation of modern urban facilities, improve civic infrastructure, and support planned development in cities and towns across Odisha. The collaboration will also contribute to enhancing public amenities and promoting sustainable urban growth.

HUDCO’s long-term funding support will enable the state to undertake large-scale projects by providing access to reliable financial resources for infrastructure expansion and housing initiatives.
