Important Documents Required from Farmers for Paddy Sale Registration to Ensure Hassle-Free Procurement and Payment

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 8 [UDN}:Farmers registering to sell paddy for the procurement season must submit the following documents:

1. Aadhaar Card
2. Biometric Information (Iris/Eye Scan to be collected using a biometric device)
3. Mobile Number Linked with Aadhaar (for OTP verification, if available)
4. Farmer Registration ID issued by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment (A&FE)
5. Copy of the First Page of the Bank Passbook
6. Copy of the Record of Rights (RoR)/Land Patta
7. Consent Letter from the Landowner, if the applicant is a Sharecropper
8. Consent Letter from Other Unregistered Sharecroppers, wherever applicable.
