Indian Army Recruitment Rally Coming to Jharsuguda; Youth Encouraged to Participate

Jharsuguda: Aug 21 [UDN}:A major Indian Army recruitment rally will be organised from October 13 to 17 at the Cricket Stadium in Malimunda, Jharsuguda, jointly by the Army Recruitment Office, Sambalpur, and the Jharsuguda district administration. The rally is being organised for eligible candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army.
To ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the large-scale recruitment drive and to maintain effective coordination among various departments, a review meeting was held in the conference hall of the Jharsuguda Collectorate. Bishwaranjan Nayak, CDO-cum-EO of the Zilla Parishad, District Sports Officer Amrit [name unclear in the source], SDIPRO K. S. Balbir Singh, along with senior officials from the Works Department, WATCO, RTO and other line departments, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, officials from the Sambalpur Army Recruitment Office made a detailed presentation on the recruitment process, administrative requirements and arrangements necessary for conducting the rally.
According to the information provided, only those eligible candidates who have already qualified in the online examination conducted earlier will be permitted to participate in the recruitment rally. These candidates will undergo document verification and physical fitness/physical efficiency tests as part of the recruitment process.
More than 3,000 eligible candidates from 10 districts, including Sambalpur, Bargarh, Angul, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Subarnapur, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda, are expected to participate in the recruitment rally.
The district administration is making extensive arrangements to ensure that the recruitment drive is conducted peacefully and without disruption. Special measures are being taken to maintain law and order at the Cricket Stadium and surrounding areas. A police control room will be established, fire and emergency services will remain on standby, and a dedicated medical team along with ambulances will be deployed to provide emergency healthcare whenever required.
The administration has also directed the concerned departments to make adequate arrangements for candidates arriving from other districts. These include cleanliness and sanitation facilities, toilets and mobile toilets, safe drinking water, accommodation, food arrangements and transportation facilities.
The district administration and the Army Recruitment Office are working in coordination to ensure that the recruitment rally is conducted in a safe, orderly and candidate-friendly manner, providing eligible aspirants with the necessary facilities throughout the five-day recruitment process.
