ISRO Chief V Narayanan Inspires Students at OUTR, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, May 22– In a landmark event, the Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) hosted ISRO Chairman and Secretary of the Department of Space, V Narayanan, for an inspiring talk session on Wednesday. The event offered students a rare opportunity to engage with one of India’s foremost space scientists.

Narayanan shared valuable insights into India’s rapidly advancing space programme, highlighting the nation’s ambitious goals. “By 2040, India will be second to none in the space sector,” he declared, energising the audience and emphasizing the vital role students will play in shaping the future of space exploration.

The session was attended by OUTR Vice Chancellor Prof. Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal, former NIT Rourkela Director Prof. Sunil Kumar Sarangi, and several prominent academicians and faculty members, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning and innovation.

The event was successfully coordinated by Dean of Academic Affairs Achyutananda Acharya and Registrar Ashis Jena, with support from dedicated faculty and staff. It marked a significant milestone in OUTR’s journey to foster excellence in science, technology, and research.
