Jeypore , July 18 [UDN}: A Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant worth ₹100 crore will be set up in Jeypore, announced MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati. The project is expected to boost industrial growth and create new employment opportunities in the region.
The company planning to establish the plant will invest around ₹100 crore in the project. The CBG plant will produce clean and renewable fuel from agricultural and organic waste, supporting sustainable development and environmental conservation.
The initiative is expected to benefit local farmers by creating demand for agricultural residue and organic waste materials. It will also contribute to the government’s efforts to promote green energy and reduce dependence on conventional fossil fuels.
Local residents and stakeholders have welcomed the announcement, viewing it as a major step towards economic development and industrial expansion in Jeypore and the surrounding areas.
