Bengaluru/Sept 8 [UDN}:Subrata Bagchi, former chairman of the Odisha Skill Development Authority and co-founder of IT company Mindtree, has been appointed chairman of the newly constituted Skill Development Vision Group by the Karnataka government.
The group will guide the Karnataka government in implementing the state’s Skill Policy 2025–32. It will particularly focus on creating a skilled workforce to meet the future needs of industries and advise the government on improving the overall skill development ecosystem.
