Bhubaneswar, July 23 UDN}: A meeting of the Agriculture Strategy Committee was held in Koraput under the chairmanship of the District Collector, Koraput, to formulate an effective agricultural strategy for the upcoming Kharif season of 2026.
The meeting focused on reviewing preparations for the Kharif season and discussing various measures to support farmers and ensure the timely availability of essential agricultural inputs. The committee deliberated on strategies related to crop planning, availability of seeds and fertilizers, irrigation facilities, agricultural extension services, and other necessary arrangements for the successful implementation of Kharif agricultural activities.
The officials concerned were advised to ensure proper coordination among all relevant departments and take timely steps to address farmers’ needs. The meeting also emphasized strengthening agricultural practices and ensuring that farmers receive the required support and services during the Kharif season.
