Koraput , Oct 29 [UDN}: In view of the impending Cyclone Arnab, the Sub-Collector of Koraput has been closely monitoring the evolving situation from the control room in Kotia and conducting field visits to ensure the safety and security of the public.
Under the supervision of the Koraput Sub-Collector, a special team has been visiting various villages under Kotia Gram Panchayat to assess ground-level conditions and distribute relief materials. The administration is placing special emphasis on minimising cyclone-related damage, ensuring timely emergency assistance and providing necessary support to residents in vulnerable areas.
With the objective of achieving “Zero Casualties,” the Koraput district administration has continued its round-the-clock monitoring and relief operations to respond promptly to emerging situations and safeguard the lives of people in cyclone-affected and vulnerable areas.
Through coordinated field-level action, continuous surveillance and timely assistance, the district administration is working to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure the safety and well-being of residents during Cyclone Arnab.
