Koraput , July 30 UDN}:  Heavy rainfall has thrown normal life out of gear in Koraput, with thunderstorms and frequent lightning creating an atmosphere of fear and concern among residents.
Due to the intense rain accompanied by thick, dark clouds, the entire area has become unusually dark even during the daytime. With visibility reduced significantly, commuters travelling on the roads have been forced to switch on their vehicle headlights to navigate safely.
The continuous downpour has affected everyday activities and disrupted normal movement across the region. The occurrence of thunder and lightning has further heightened concerns among the people.
Residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during the rainfall and remain cautious while commuting. People should also take appropriate precautions during thunderstorms and seek shelter in safe places whenever lightning activity intensifies.
