Koraput Witnesses 25 Years of Dedicated Service to Lord Kalia, Highlighting a Lifetime of Devotion, Sacrifice, and Religious Commitment

Koraput, July 30 UDN}:  For the past 25 years, Pintu Sahu has been serving devotees by preparing Mahaprasad (annaprasaad) for thousands of devotees without accepting any payment. During the nine-day stay of the three deities at the Gundicha Temple in Koraput, Mahaprasad is prepared every day for nearly 5,000 devotees.

Although Pintu Sahu has been performing this service for the last 25 years, he has never taken any remuneration for his work. Pintu is not alone in this noble service; around 50 people who work alongside him also volunteer their services without receiving any payment.

Pintu’s father had also served at the temple in a similar manner for nearly 20 years. After his father’s demise, Pintu took forward the responsibility of continuing this selfless service.

Pintu Sahu says that serving Mahaprabhu gives him a deep sense of satisfaction and spiritual fulfilment. His 25 years of dedicated service stand as a beautiful example of devotion, selflessness and commitment to the Lord and the devotees.
