Kotpad Branch of Utkal Sammilani Addresses Kotia Territorial Dispute at Press Conference, Urges NMDC to Prioritise Employment for Local Youth in the Region

Kotpad , Oct 26 [UDN}:  The Kotpad branch of Utkal Sammilani organised a press conference to highlight the ongoing Kotia dispute and raise the demand for employment opportunities for local youths in the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC). During the press conference, the organisation brought attention to issues concerning Kotia and emphasised the need to safeguard Odisha’s interests in the disputed region. It also stressed that local young people should be given priority in employment opportunities associated with NMDC, enabling them to benefit from industrial development and contribute to the economic progress of their own region.

Through this press conference, the Kotpad branch of Utkal Sammilani sought to draw the attention of the government, concerned authorities and the public towards these important regional issues. The organisation’s initiative focused on protecting local interests in the Kotia dispute while advocating fair employment opportunities for eligible youths from the surrounding areas at NMDC.
