Bhubaneswar, Oct 30 (UDN): The Ladakh State Election Commission has announced that the Panchayat elections in Ladakh will be held on November 21, 2026.
Following the announcement of the election schedule, the Model Code of Conduct has come into immediate effect across the areas covered by the election process. The code lays down guidelines for political parties, candidates and other stakeholders to ensure that the elections are conducted in a fair and orderly manner.
The announcement marks the beginning of the formal electoral process for the Panchayat elections in Ladakh, with the administration and election authorities expected to undertake the necessary preparations for polling.
