Legal Services Authority Marks International Workers’ Day with Programs Focused on Worker Welfare and Justice

Malkangiri,May 05:: International Workers’ Day was celebrated by the Legal Services Authority. On this occasion, a meeting was organized at the DRDA conference hall, where District Judge and Chairperson of the Legal Services Authority, Rajalakshmi Pattnaik, attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the program.
Among others, Secretary of the Legal Services Authority and Judge Ms. Sangeeta Patra, and Labour Officer Tanmaya Mandal were present. Hundreds of men and women participated in the meeting.
During the program, the chief guest, District Judge and Authority Chairperson Rajalakshmi Pattnaik, provided death assistance benefits to three beneficiaries, marriage-related assistance to three others, and distributed labour cards along with various other forms of support to many beneficiaries.
The gathering was also made aware of the various legal services and benefits available through the Legal Services Authority.
