9th January 2025: In celebration of the ‘Mahakumbh Mela 2025’, the state government has launched an independent bus service for the convenience of the pilgrims. This service will provide a direct route for devotees traveling from Puri, Bhawanipatna, Berhampur, and Sambalpur to Ayodhya, making their journey smoother.

The Mahakumbh Mela 2025 is a major spiritual and community event where devotees from urban and rural areas come together every year. With this in mind, the local and national tourism development has also been initiated. By the end of this event, the introduction of easier bus travel will provide pilgrims with better services and facilities.
