New Delhi: July 28 UDN}:Following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Prahlad Joshi has been appointed as the country’s new Education Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assigned Union Minister Prahlad Joshi the additional charge of the Ministry of Education. He will now handle the responsibilities of the Education Ministry along with his existing portfolio.
Prahlad Joshi is currently in charge of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. He officially assumed charge as the Union Education Minister today.
The newly appointed Union Education Minister, Prahlad Joshi, said that he has accepted the responsibility with a sense of humility. He said, “The Prime Minister has entrusted me with a responsibility, which I accept with a sense of duty and humility.” He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has achieved several historic milestones over the past 12 years.
