Major Step Forward for Jeypore–Nabarangpur Rail Connectivity as Administration Starts Transferring Acquired Land to Railway Department

Borigumma: Sept 15 [UDN}:  Hopes for the long-awaited Jeypore–Nabarangpur New Railway Line Project are becoming brighter. Earlier, following the completion of the survey work for the project, the land acquisition process had reached its final stage. Now, the administration has started the process of handing over the acquired land to the Railway Department.

As part of the third phase of the land handover, around 40 acres of land from the villages of Perli, Kamara and Dullaguda have been handed over to the Railway Department.

The development is expected to give further momentum to the Jeypore–Nabarangpur railway project and raise hopes among people in the region for improved rail connectivity.
